Uniqlo, the Japanese high street fashion retailer asked Branch to work on numerous campaigns, creating exciting window graphics and displays to promote their latest clothing ranges. As well as retail solutions, Branch have worked on a wide variety of projects to help Uniqlo become the popular brand that they are.

+J launch

Uniqlo briefed us to create graphics for their +J launch – the much anticipated range by Jil Sander. We created an eye-catching teaser countdown, resulting in large queues outside its flagship store on Oxford Street and revealing the large format product photography. Alongside this we produced postcards, look books and in store signage, all adhering to the set photography style.

Chino campaign

To celebrate the launch of Uniqlo’s Spring Cargo & Chino campaign we installed a 3D window display. Alongside the vinyl and printed graphics we also created a series of giant labels which reflected the tag design on the trousers. These could be seen hanging in the windows of their flagship stores on Oxford Street.

Press preview

Before the launch of new collections, Uniqlo hold press preview days which we have been involved in by creating the graphics and signage. In this case the launch was for the Autumn/Winter collection and used a series of icons to represent each part of the range as well as environmental graphics to explain the collection.

Olympic celebration

To celebrate the 2012 Olympic games happening in Stratford, we were asked by Uniqlo to produce something eye-catching in their Westfield store. We came up with the idea of making bespoke cannons that would blow around colourful confetti inside their large glass enclosure. This exciting display gave Uniqlo’s windows movement, standing out from other static displays in the Westfield shopping centre. We also made a giant three-dimensional Uniqlo gold medal that hung from the 7 metre ceiling in the glass enclosure.

Collaboration with Vogue

We produced promotional material to celebrate Uniqlo’s ‘As seen in Vogue’ partnership event. The creative approach balanced both the Uniqlo and Vogue identities.

Checked campaign

A bold, geometric illustration was created, taking inspiration from the products to promote their Checked Shirt campaign. This striking pattern ensured the window displays captured the attention of the passer by.

Celia Birtwell launch

Celia Birtwell, the British textile designer collaborated with Uniqlo for an upcoming clothing collection. Our job was to turn Uniqlo’s press room into an exhibition style space showing sketches, information, patterns and garments from the exciting collaboration.

Spring collection

Following the successful Uniqlo sale campaign, we were asked to inject some colour and impact into all the Uniqlo stores. Using the pastel colour palette of the current collection, we produced bespoke perspex circles and designed vinyls to compliment them graphically. We rolled the campaign across all of Uniqlo’s major London stores.

Autumn/Winter collection

Focusing on the strength and colour of the products, a simple typographic solution was employed to promote the Autumn and Winter collection. To achieve further impact, metallic colours and dynamic compositions were applied to the type.
