Metropole Search Partners is a specialist headhunting firm focused on senior private bankers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They advise leading private banks, asset managers and multi-family offices.
The identity was created around one of the meanings of ‘metropole’ – being the centre of the city, this meaning went hand in hand with the spelling of the word itself. The first O in Metropole is the central character which naturally allowed it to become the focus of the identity. The O also forms a specific search area, summing up Metropole perfectly as ‘specific headhunters’.
A strong, modern and confident typeface was necessary to allow Metropole to compete in the marketplace. Gotham was chosen due to it’s rounded nature to replicate the O from the logo. Georgia was chosen as the secondary typeface to display neatly and professionally across both online and offline communications.
Photography and brand statements
The photography focuses on locations around the world that Metropole work in, whilst the brand statements reinforce how Metropole help their clients. It was important for the statements to work in various languages to ensure clear understanding for all users.
A set of clean and simple stationery with high end finishing was created to further establish the identity. A copper foil and blind de-boss were applied to add an air of prestige and luxury to the brand.
Metropole’s brochure website is professional, confident and to the point, clearly outlining their proposition. The imagery plays a large part on the website, highlighting the areas in which Metropole work. The site is translated into two other languages for their international client base.
