Strategy – Identity – Digital – Collateral
KPPR have a strong reputation in the world of entertainment PR. With the likes of Ricky Gervais and Zoe Ball on their books, their appearance needed to reflect this. They enlisted our help to create an identity they could be proud of.
The logotype is based on the typeface Encorpada coupled with VAG Rounded. A bespoke version of the initials K and P were created to reflect the boutique feel of the agency. There is a friendly touch to the logotype which automatically makes the agency feel approachable.
We selected a series of inspirational quotes based on success which could be used across KPPR’s collateral. These we specifically chosen to resonate with people within the entertainment industry.
Encorpada has been carried through from the logotype to form the primary display typeface and is supported by VAG Rounded, a warm and friendly typeface that was included for legibility. Baskerville, a serifed typeface, adds maturity into the identity and forms the tertiary typeface.
Bespoke patterns have been created using sections of the logo. The patterns were created by repeating the leg of the K, and are used to form part of the visual language, which adds a decorative touch to the identity.
KPPR have very little control over what imagery they receive from their clients. We needed to create a recognisable system for them to be able to stylise the imagery and bring it in line with the rest of their identity. Gradient overlays were created using the identity colours, which are placed over each image.
The stationery set makes use of their bold colours, patterns and large quotations to ensure the collateral is impactful and stands out from the crowd.
Website and social media
The visual style and graphic language of the identity was applied to a responsive website and social media platforms by the in-house team at KPPR.
