During our work on the Fuse brand we were lucky enough to make several visits to the beautiful city of Oslo, to run workshops and give presentations etc. And with each visit, we got to explore the city a little further. It really is a visual and cultural treat. Strong Scandinavian influences run throughout the architecture, wayfinding systems, public spaces and galleries – a feast for any designer’s eye. From the sharp architectural forms of the Operahuset Oslo (Oslo Opera House), as designed by Snohetta, and the buildings of the Barcode Project (various architects), to the mix of modern and traditional typography found scattered throughout the city, design is every where. We can’t wait to go back!
Below are a few images from our visits, and more can be found here.
